About Us

The International Women's Club of Moscow is truly international! Our members include women from 110 countries who are primarily diplomatic and commercial spouses. We also have members who are themselves business professionals working in Moscow.

Our club provides opportunities for women to make new friends, become acquainted with each other's cultures, and explore mutual interests together. In addition, we support several worthy charities in the area.

The IWC is open to all expatriate women and men currently residing in Moscow. Membership is also available to a limited number of Russian citizens. As specified in the Club Charter, Russian membership may comprise no more than 10% of the total club membership.

Membership

Events

Both IWC members and guests are eligible to take part in evening events every other month. These events focus on a particular area of interest, and they give members the opportunity to mingle and explore different cultural areas together.

The IWC holds special "Meet & Greet" events twice a year to bring together new and existing members in an upscale location in the city. Past events have taken place in a variety of prestigious hotels and other interesting venues.

IWC Evenings

Coffee mornings allow members to mingle and enjoy the atmosphere of various interesting locations around the city. They take place at embassies, as well as cafes and other unique locations.

Meet & Greet

The IWC includes busy schedule of events and interest group activities. We provide our members with many opportunities to meet new people and explore life in Moscow. The IWC has two primary events on a regular basis: coffee mornings (twice a month) and evening events (every other month). We also have regular charity lunches, as well as holiday and spring bazaars and twice-yearly Meet & Greet events for new members.

The IWC includes a wide range of interest groups led by seasoned experts in different fields. This year's groups include music, literature, art, cooking, dance, and more. Some groups involve city tours to unique locations, and even excursions out of town.

Charities

The IWC Charities Group works actively to support worthy causes in the country. All of the group members are volunteers, and therefore donations go entirely to recipient groups without any overhead costs.

The group carefully selects organizations that prove themselves worthy of receiving donations, and the IWC has a strict method of monitoring funds to ensure that they are correctly utilized. Fundraising takes place through IWC events, as well as private donations.
