Who can join the IWC?
The IWC is open to all expatriate women and men residing in Moscow. Russian passport holders
are also accepted up to a total number of 5% of the total members of the Club: a waiting list system is in operation.
What are the benefits of joining the IWC?
IWC members have many opportunities to socialise with new friends and become part of a truly international community. We hold monthly general meetings and coffee mornings, and in addition there are a number of special events throughout the year.
Members can join IWC Interest Groups and participate in a wide range of activities.
We support a number of charity projects where members can volunteer their time and give something back to the local community.
Our major fundraising events, the Winter Bazaar and Embassies of the World Ball are highlights of the Moscow expat calendar.
Members receive regular bulletins and newsletters to keep them up-to-date with what's going on throughout the club.
And finally, our members benefit from our large membership rewards scheme, which entitles them to discounts at a number of stores and restaurants around Moscow.
How do I join?
If you would like to become a member of the IWC, you simply need to fill out a registration form and pay 2200 RUR. The membership season runs from September through August, but you may join at any time.

Then come to a general meeting or coffee morning to pay your 2200 rubles membership fee, and bring a small passport-sized photo so that we can process your badge. Please PRINT your name on the back so we know who you are.
To renew your membership, you can simply bring your current IWC badge to any of our coffee mornings or General Meetings (except June) from May to September 2010, to renew your membership for the club year 2011 (September 2011 to August 2012). These badges will be your permanent badge. If you lose your badge, you will be required to pay an additional 250r fee for a replacement. Please remember to bring your badge when you're attending any IWC meeting or event.
From February of any membership year, the fee for the remainder of that year will be 1100 RUR.
Can I attend IWC events if I'm not a member?
